Journaling prompts



Some days I am just in the mood for getting things out of my mind and onto paper. Journaling prompts can be a wonderful way to spark creativity, encourage self-reflection, and process your thoughts and feelings. Here are some great prompts, categorized for different purposes:

For Self-Reflection and Personal Growth:

  • What are three things you're grateful for today, and why?
  • What is one thing you did today that you're proud of?
  • What is a fear that holds you back, and what small step can you take to overcome it?
  • Describe a time you felt truly authentic.
  • What are your core values, and how are you living by them?
  • What is something you want to change about your life, and what steps can you take to make that change?
  • Write about a moment of joy you experienced recently.
  • What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  • What does your ideal day look like?
  • What are you learning about yourself right now?
  • If you could give your younger self advice, what would it be?

For Creativity and Imagination:

  • Write about a dream you had recently.
