Blue is the color of the sky, the color of the ocean, sleep and the hazy mist of twilight. The color of cornflower blue is the color of the Virgin Mary.
Pure blue is the color of inspiration, spirituality, and sincerity. Conservative people often choose blue as a favorite color. It is also the color of the Arc Angel Michael.
Blue is calming and because of this fact, it makes a wonderful color for the walls of your home, especially for babies. Male babies that are born are often given items that are blue. Blue is a cool, soothing color that is a good choice for pajamas. But dark blue is the color of truth and moderation. A blue iris has the meaning of a friendship that is important and lasting.
Turquoise is the symbol of youth and it has a soothing affect on them. Turquoise is the color of communication, growth and has long been used in amulets to provide protection, health, confidence and strength. Aqua is the color of high ideals.
Blue gives us a feeling of distance, and in art it's used to show perspective. Blue allows us to look beyond and increase our perspective outward. It contains a cool vibration that is helpful to communication. Using blue to relax will encourage feelings of communication and peace.
Put some blue in your life when you want:
- calm and relaxation to counteract chaos or agitation
- to open the flow of communication
- to broaden your perspective in learning new information
- solitude and peace
- stable, calm conservative feeling
All shades of blue will help to make communication easier, whether it is with yourself or others. Use blue paper for notes when you want help in remembering a speech or other information.
Blue sure has a lot of different meanings but I like to think of it as calming and peaceful. I tend to wear a lot of blue and green and they seem to have a lot in common, maybe that's because they're right beside each other on the color wheel. :)
Breathe in that wonderful sense of blue today. Zone out and come to a calm centered place where you can feel safe.
Blessings to you today.
